About Us: Board of Directors

The Retirement Community of Fairbanks is incorporated in the State of Alaska as a non-profit corporation. The IRS has recognized it as tax-exempt under Section 501(c).

The corporation is governed by a nine-member board of directors, which will retain ownership of the property, hire management, and set policy. The directors are listed below:

Mary E. Greene, Vice Chair	Attorney, retired superior court judge
Nanci Jones, Secretary	Tanana Chiefs Conference, former director Permanent Fund Dividend
Mike Cook, Treasurer	CPA, Cook & Haugeberg
Mary Ann Borchert	Retired UAF researcher and administrator
Randy Cheap	Alaska Works Partnership
Emily Ennis	Director, Fairbanks Resource Agency
Arlayne Knox	Retired teacher, Presbyterian deacon
Jim Whitaker	Former mayor, Fairbanks North Star Borough

Board meetings are scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month at 8:00am in the Commons Room of Raven Landing R-1.
